May is time for fun!

April showers have defiantly brought May flowers, however! We want you to try something a little bit different this month.
You will need the following:

1.  A large, clear vase or jar
2. Fruit, any kind you want. Apples, cherries, strawberries, etc.
3. Carbonated water or soda, clear
4. Any kind of light you want
5. Camera Gear
6. Towels
7. Turkey baster

Put the jar or vase in a place that you want to shoot with the light.
Fill the jar or vase with your fruit.
Pour in your carbonated water or soda.
Shoot to your hearts content!

You may be asking yourself, "why do I need the towels and the turkey baster?", its for the clean-up silly! If you have filled the jar or vase to the top the turkey baster is so that you can take the water or soda out.

Try different angles and have fun!

Celebration!

In celebration of the new life that is popping up all around us this assignment should be a breeze.

  Aprils assignment is Newborn Life.

 This does not mean that you need to go rent a newborn baby, it means that I want you to photograph something new in life.

March Wetness!

Sorry this assignment is late getting out. 
This month we have decided to work with nature.  Every time you go out to take pictures it is not always going to be a sunny and happy day. So in celebration of the continuing rain we are putting a different assignment out.
 Everywhere you look you see rain drops on something. This month we want you to look at where they are at or through them.

Raindrops on ...?

Look beyond the typical plant or pond. What else are raindrops on and what kind of images can you get from them? Also look in your bag of tools, what do you have that can enhance the image or can create a new one? Don't forget about reflections in the drops!

P.S. If we by some chance were to have a bunch of sunshine you can use a spray bottle or hose.

February's Assignment

Hello all!

 We realize that the month is almost over, however!, we still wanted to get an assignment posted to get your creative juices flowing.  Open up those doors and let loose!

 Today's assignment is
      
        Light on Dark

Anything that is light on dark. Think about it, look at what is around you and ponder. There are no restrictions, think outside your box and show us your work!  Send us an e-mail with what you have come up with.

  There really isn't a due date, however we are going to post another assignment next month around the beginning of the month.  Our goal is to have one a month.  Have fun with this, it is to get you inspired!
